Context
M. B. Rege is the lead witness in the published HTML edition of Devotees' Experiences Part I (literature.saibaba.com index, page 1). His full statement (pages 1–13 of the Sai Literature HTML edition) is the canonical opening account of Narasimha Swami's 1936 collection.
About the 1936 statement
Rege's statement covers his approach to Baba, his impressions of Baba's omniscience, and his framing of Baba as a continuing presence after the 1918 Mahasamadhi. As with most of the 1936 witnesses, the statement was given to Narasimha Swami in person between May and December of that year and included multiple sittings.
